Classical Pilates
Classical Pilates is Joseph Pilates' original system: a precise order of exercises, on the Mat and on the apparatus, that builds the body from the centre. It is not a fitness variant; it is a method with a structure that is learned.
CÊNTRICA's methodology is constructivist: movement is understood by living it. On the original system we apply nuances of methodological and ancestral knowledge, and the contemporary nuance appears only when the body asks for it.
The principles contemporary tradition teaches are six — concentration, control, centering, breathing, precision and flow — and the VIDA guide adds integration as a perspective that gathers them, not as a seventh principle that replaces them.
